FRIGID Nightcap September 16th: BOTTOMS UP!

This September, FRIGID Nightcap turns the whole thing upside down.

In a moment when wealth, power, surveillance, and decision-making keep concentrating at the top, we’re raising a glass to power built from below: workers, artists, neighbors, tenants, communities, coalitions, and all the gloriously contradictory people who keep society functioning. Because solidarity doesn’t require sameness, and it isn’t charity. It’s collective self-defense.

So we’re exploring all of that through bottoms, booze, bodies, labor, sex, money, power dynamics, rock bottom, rising up, turning things over, and whatever else our artists decide to do with the phrase.

Expect a wild late-night collision of comedy, drag, burlesque, music, theatre, performance art, movement, and beautiful nonsense: political, personal, filthy, absurd, celebratory, or simply upside down.

The bottoms of our society are power bottoms... they are the ones holding everything up.

So let's turn the whole thing upside-down.
