Act I Scene II: Soldier

Maya. Mayu. Gujarat, India, England, inside and out. Soldier, as she is called by Charlie as they see each other fighting to extend their arms into the others' chest; spending her time trying to find ways to persevere understanding, questioning, yearning, accepting and deserving the many hearts in the world she calls her life. the viscerality of an experience of an Indian woman finding her way around love.

A character experiment, a scene expanded to a show, a verse producing symbolisms connecting to the heart at the centre and the breaths she takes in response to all the hearts surrounding her. Part character-study, part poetry reading, please come in to take a look into her world, perhaps it speaks to you more so about your own.
