H@PPY F@GGOT (A Queer Love Letter From a Member of Generation-X)
Before queer/straight alliances, social media and PrEP, how does a feral, gay kid from the 80’s try to figure things out? Trial and error with an emphasis on error.
Told through six autobiographical stories of perseverance, resilience and hope (along with a healthy dose of Gen-X humor) H@PPY F@GGOT is a 1980s/90s time capsule that travels between the past and the present to illustrate how much the queer experience has changed, how much it hasn’t and how much stronger we are together than apart.
“How he weaves his story around lust and love, comical and endearing observations,
and the 80s life of a gay man in all its revelations and horrors is a gift.” (review - NoHo Arts/Los Angeles)
