The Isle of Slaves Revisited - A Theatrical and Musical Spectacle For Our Times
The tables have savagely turned when survivors of a shipwreck (two masters and their servants) land on the isle of Slaves, a republic founded by slaves who fled the cruelty of their owners. The four individuals happen to be two masters and two servants and there very existence is challenged.
The rest is history in this new and modern take on Marivaux’s masterpiece that revisits the question of equality and the power of roles in an increasingly fraught society.
