IN BETWEEN THE MOON AND THE SUN
The story follows Sol and Luna, two immigrant artists who meet in New York City while studying acting. When Luna’s visa is approved and Sol’s is denied, they must navigate a long-distance friendship while pursuing their careers and facing personal struggles in life and in the acting world.
The play follows their parallel lives as auditions, survival jobs, visa processes, romantic relationships, and family crises reshape what they thought success would look like. As time and distance grows, both women are confronted with the question of what it really means to “make it,” and whether staying, leaving, or letting go can also be an act of courage.
At its core, the play is about the resilience of friendship and how love can survive even when dreams change.
