Fever Dream TV

Fever Dream TV is a surrealist one man show from Nikolai Phalen that combines stand up comedy with absurdist character study to create a hilarious reflection on the meaning of creating in the face of nihilistic circumstance. In FDTV, Nikolai performs his stand up show only to be interrupted by a god-like figure who appears to be connected to the worlds oldest dog and for some reason Jennifer Coolidge.

Fever Dream TV is queer pop cultural reference through the paradigms of Camusian Philosophy— in the words of Camus, “One must imagine Sisyphus as a gay guy named Nikolai, and his boulder as a comedy show called Fever Dream TV at wild project from April 1st-April 18th”.

As part of its run 15% of ticket sales will be donated to the IDP (Immigrant Defense Project) which is doing valuable work in the nyc community.
