Two Households

Two Gender identities, both alike in dignity, in the fair closet where we lay our scene. But wherefore art thou two?
Playing through clown and movement work, Two Households reimagines the text of Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet to explore queerness and gender identity. Rachel Weekley continues their streak of solo Shakespeare remixes, following sold-out runs of King of Nothing at The Brick and Harrisburg Fringe Festival, with this expanded production of Two Households, originally shown at Frigid's ShakesSolo Festival. Original compositions by RJ Christian, directed by Zeynep Akça of No Exit Theatre Collective. You can find more of NETC's work on Instagram: @noexittc.
