Heema Hukla is a psychiatrist living in New York City with her partner when her life is invaded by the most uncommon, common household pest. incidentally, this co-occurs with her recovery from a mysterious set of ailments amounting to a diagnosis that's inconclusive and -- despite her training and work as a physician herself -- nearly inconceivable. join her in what becomes a quest for answers as she encounters a bug infestation that metastasizes to her soul.
